Making History
About role models, art, and (re)writing your own story.

Many communities are still underrepresented in many places. Role models can help shift that balance. They show that there is room to be yourself and to let your own voice be heard. In doing so, we can change the world around us.
But what do you do when the role models you needed were missing? In Writing History, we talk with, among others, Xillan Macrooy and Djuwa Mroivili. We explore the power of examples: how someone can inspire you, and the moment when you yourself—sometimes unexpectedly—become a role model for someone else. We discover the magic of the stage as a place where you can give shape to what you once missed, and we ask ourselves: how do you carry responsibility without losing yourself?
A program to reflect on who inspires us, who we want to be, and which stories we pass on.
