Theater Utrecht strives to ensure that everyone – both online and physically – has access to our performances, information and venues. We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our website and locations.

Digital Accessibility

Our website is designed with accessibility in mind. In the top right corner of the screen, you will find buttons that allow you to adjust the website's display to suit your needs. You can enlarge the font for better readability and enable a low-stimulus mode for a visual experience with fewer animations and more muted color usage.

We continue to optimize our digital environment according to the guidelines for digital accessibility (WCAG).

Physical Accessibility

Our venue, Theater Utrecht - Centre for Performing Arts at Boorstraat 107 and De Paardenkathedraal are both physically accessible for wheelchair users. We strive to provide an inclusive experience for everyone who visits us. Both locations have wheelchair-accessible entrances and restrooms. There are a number of seats available in the auditorium for wheelchair users. Please reserve these in advance by calling 030-2737300. 

Unfortunately, we do not yet have facilities for individuals with hearing impairments.
