Makers* Monday

Are you working on a performance and do you have questions about the process? Would you like to be part of a larger network? Maybe you need artistic, production-related, or financial support but don’t know where to find it. Or perhaps you’re not sure where in the arts field you should develop or present your work, or how you fit into that field as a maker.
What questions can you ask?
Any kind of question (about dramaturgy, budgeting, marketing, artistic or production matters, etc.) as long as it concerns your work or how you position yourself within the arts field — and not a pitch to sell your performance. Makers* Monday is here to help you with the process, not to programme or sell your project.
There are no wrong questions. Truly. We are here for you, wherever you are in your making process.
How does it work?
Makers* Monday takes place on the first Monday of every month in a different city, so we’re accessible throughout the Netherlands.
If you want to participate, please sign up at least one week in advance via the registration form. This allows us to find a suitable match within our community — a professional with whom you can discuss your question one-on-one.
Everyone working in the performing arts is welcome. Depending on your needs, conversations can take place in Dutch and/or English. Participation is free!
Who are we?
We are a community of people who work with new makers at Platform Horizon, Festival Cement, Via Zuid, Amsterdam Fringe Festival, Zaal 3 / Het Nationale Theater, De Brakke Grond, Café Theater Festival, Delft Fringe Festival, De Theatermaker, Theater Bellevue, Jonge Harten, Frascati.
Why?
We see a lack of spaces for people working in the performing arts to learn and ask questions about their projects, to find their way in the arts field, and to build a larger or broader network.
