Jaha Koo is a South Korean theater maker and composer living in Utrecht and Ghent. In his work, he explores the performativity of multimedia and ingeniously brings together music, video material, text, and installations on stage. His performances are infused with politics, history, and personal stories. Important themes in Koo's work include the clash between East and West, (de)colonization, and its impact on people's personal lives.
