What is love

What is love is a musical, moving, and vibrant theater and dance performance by director Casper Vandeputte and choreographer Justin de Jager at Theater Utrecht and DOX: a thrilling exchange about love.
We sing along to it in almost every pop song: love is all you need. But why? And is it even true? Is love equally important for everyone? And how many forms of love actually exist?
In a new text that seamlessly blends philosophy, psychology, and humor, Casper Vandeputte and Justin de Jager, along with a group of multi-talented artists, young and old, explore love. Inspired by their own experiences, the oldest religions, and the latest scientific insights, they attempt to understand love. They discuss, play music, yearn, talk to the audience, and debate everything imaginable about love. And when they run out of words, they dance.
