TBS On Tour: Mens en Kosmos Ontrafeld

Mens en Kosmos Ontrafeld (a rather grand theme for such an amateur performance) is a compelling journey through the human soul, featuring patients with psychiatric hospitals and local Utrecht residents as the protagonists of their own stories.

Just as we explore the cosmos, discovering stars, planets, and black holes, people also journey through life, searching for meaning and understanding. Both raise questions about our existence and our place in the universe. The performance illuminates the beautiful diversity of human experiences, from the smallest everyday moments to the deepest desires and most hidden secrets.

The Theater Buiten de Muren platform, part of the Van der Hoeven Clinic, launched a new project in January 2023: TBS on Tour 2.0. The performance Mens en Kosmos Ontrafeld (Human and Cosmos Unraveled) was developed in a professional environment and theater enthusiasts are welcome to participate.

This unique project involves TBS patients who are well into their treatment and participating in resocialization, Van der Hoeven Clinic staff and theater enthusiasts from the outside.
