On September 27 & 28, we’re celebrating the festive opening of our new location at Boorstraat 107 in Utrecht, and you’re warmly invited to join us!

We’re kicking off the season with a vibrant weekend full of inspiration, connection, and a sneak peek of what you can expect from us in the coming year. From a drag bingo to the youth performance Ôskwanteklip, from Jaha Koo’s powerful Haribo Kimchi to Prikkel by Schweigman& and Johannes Bellinkx. We’ll also be hosting in-depth conversations about care, activism, and community.

Whether you come to watch, listen, dance, or simply take a look at our new space. We look forward to welcoming you.

We’ll be open all day for visitors, with a mix of paid and free-access events, as well as free activities that require a ticket. Check out the full program below.

In a tiny house by the sea live two elderly people: Ger and Gon. Every Monday, they pick mussels from the water and the calluses from their feet. Everything goes as it always has, until suddenly absurd things start to happen. The seagulls start singing, the house shrinks, and a denture takes on a life of its own. Their lives are turned inside out and back to front.

Ôskwanteklip is a colorful, visual, and humorous performance about the near-final phase of two elderly people. Through mask play, music, and tragicomic scenes, we reflect on life, death, and everything in between.

Haribo Kimchi - Jaha Koo

In Haribo Kimchi, we find ourselves in a pojangmacha, one of the typical snack bars found on the streets of South Korea at night. There, we meet three characters: a snail, a gummy bear, and an eel, who take us on a culinary journey in exploring food as a refuge for those alienated from their culture. In a series of intimate and absurdist anecdotes, they recount the evolution of kimchi culture, the bitter pain of unadulterated racism, the shame of trying to blend in, and the deep umami taste of home.

The performance runs on Saturday and Sunday. Dinner is included on Sunday.
