In Sex & Death: Between Libidinal and Liminal States interdisciplinary artist AURA brings together two worlds that may at first seem like opposites. The performance consists of two interactive parts. The first, Fri, is an intimate experience between you and the artist in a space with multiple installations and objects. In a space containing several installations and objects, you explore desire, intimacy and radical tenderness through visual, auditory, intellectual, communicative, sensory and manipulative stimuli.
The second, Death, is a virtual reality experience that invites you into the Afterlife. Here, you explore your own death and future from within a concept-store funeral home, set in an auric garden.
Together, the two parts form a single experience that reveals the parallels of desire.
